I have noticed the tinyurl.com links on the board and today when I wanted to ask a question about an auction I put tiny.com in the address bar and took a look. It sounds great but it wierded me out at first when it came up with a Hi (my first name) until I saw the Amazon link. I do not see any privacy statement for tinyurl.com itself but only for Amazon honor system. Am I missing something? Is there general feeling that the privacy here is adequate and there is no hidden agenda? Seems like a neat service and I would like to try it.
Thanks for any help.

I use it all of the time. They have a toolbar thingie that's really convenient. I never had any privacy issues with them. I don't think they set cookies. I didn't find one when I looked. I don't know about the Amazon link. Never saw it. Tinyurl must be able to read your Amazon cookie.
