Okay, desperate enough to come out of lurking to ask...

Can anyone tell me anything about this little pitcher? I apologize in advance for the picture quality.

Thanks in advance for any and all help!

Put a little more information on ~ size size of pitcher. It looks like writing or printing on the bottom if so can you read it.

Now that you have taken the plunge to post keep coming back. The more the merrier...

Duh...I should have added the size to begin with! It's about 2-3/4" tall. Not very big at all. I can't make out the writing on the bottom at all. It looks to me like it is "stamped?" into the bottom. It's definitely pottery, because you can see the marks on it where it was turned on the pottery wheel.

Forgive me if I sound like an idiot...I don't know anything about this sort of thing. I found it when going through a box of my grandmothers stuff and didn't know if it was trash or treasure.

Thanks!

It looks like a piece of Williamsburg Pottery, very similar to one we have that you can read the impression on the bottom.

If it belonged to your grandmother it is Treasure with a capital "T".

Thanks to everyone for being so nice and helpful!! After looking on the Williamsburg Pottery site...it is definitely one of their creamer/pitchers. But I'm still not sure how old it is, the pattern is slightly different from what they are showing now.

We recently moved to a smaller house and I'm trying to downsize the amount of junk/treasures I have.

So...get ready, you'll probably be seeing alot more of me!
