Heres a good one directly from email-Wrote me apologizing but she was not going to go through with the auction because she found it somewhere else. I simply told her it was unacceptable and I would file a NPB-
This is her email- and yes she said hail satan.
yeah, you see.. i have the common courtsey that so many people lack these days. i could have igorned the whole auction and dodged emails but i didn't, because i'm a nice person. i had the decency, which obviously you lack, to at least apologize for bailing on the auction. apologies might not mean anything to you, but they are still greatly appreciated in many parts of the world. i don't care if you don't accept my apology, whatever, and i really don't even want you to. but you see, the difference between you and me is that i take the high road. maybe one day you can learn that being nice and polite will get you a lot farther in life than selling items on ebay to make a living. with that said, here's a big smiley face it doesn't hurt to smile and spread some cheer. hail satan! and go ahead and give me that NPB warning.. i really don't care because i can still smile. i'm welcoming it with a big smile and open arms!

Yes, this is one of my favorites. I call it the "Shame on You" offensive.
It seems to be exclusively used by women, interestingly. If they can (and their one remaining functioning brain cell allows it) usually they throw in a reference to their scrawny anklebiters. One woman abused me for wanting payment by sobbing about how she had to roll pennies to buy food.
Isn't it amusing that with the "Shame on You" approach, shame is the one thing in short supply?

yes, the women do the shame on you approach, men tend to bully. men think if they push you around you will just automatically do what they tell you and that's that.
hopefully three more sellers will NPB her quickly and then we'll see how nice she is.
Life is only as good or bad as you make it.

I have one for you. Buyer does not use the Vendio Checkout form, contacts me directly. I responded and again buyer e-mails me requesting payment information. So far the buyer has e-mailed me 4 times, I have sent 4 WBN'S and payment reminders. Buyer keeps asking when I am going to respond to her!!! I checked the e-mail addresss, it is correct. She is now stating that I am not responsive, when in fact I reply to all of her e-mails. I have now sent a Request for Payment through PayPal. If that doesn't work I may call the buyer.
Either this is a spoof or someone is deleting her e-mails. I would like to re-list this item and not go through the additional days necessary to file with E-bay. This is a pain in the "A" to sellers.
How would you handle this situation? The auction ended 6 days ago.

Maubi, send her an email with the address she has used to email you. Maybe that is the only one familar to her? (Some are quite dense ya know!) Or send an invoice from EBAY and perhaps she will open that one up? If its not her being dumb, I'd say yeah to your other two ideas, i.e, spoof, or her account is jacked.

Of course there is always the possibility that your Vendio notice that is spoofing your address is getting caught in a spam filter and she truly is not getting the notices. Maybe rather than contining to do the one click methos that has been unsuccessful you should just send her a notice directly. Automation is nice and certainly makes our life easier but in this case it sounds like this one needs a personal touch.

If it's really "common" sense, why do so few people actually have it?

I tend to believe people who do not get email. I was using a server that AOL did not like, and was automatically blocking! There was no warning to the person receiving the messages, it was simply blocked. I've switched servers, and now have resolved that problem...If it happens once, it might be the buyer, but if it happens more than once, you should check out and see what is going on.

I'd like to see that buyer try that in a restaurant. Order an entree, refuse to take it when served. "Oops, hubby just ordered pizza and we'll eat it here."

roads, one knew someone who owned a car repair shop and lamented something similar when people wanted to buy the parts and have them installed;
"would you take your own eggs to a resturant and ask them to cook it for you"? LOL......

Thanks for all your input. I did go to E0bay and send an invoice to her plus I have already sent a request for $$$ through PayPal. If I don't hear back in a day or two, I think I will re-list the item.
If the payment should come through all the better, if not at least someone else will have a chance at the Reindeer lights.

I find that if the emails are returned to me that usually they have changed their email address. I call them and that is usually the case.
