I have fallen for the Mt Pleasant black amethyst glass dinnerware from L.E. Smith - I tried to look up the pattern on Replacements.com to get an idea of pricing and also the pieces in the line but I can't find jack. I have searched under china and crystal and the pattern name and found nothing. Obviously the site has a grudge against me. What am I doing wrong - can someone that perrhaps is not hated by an inatimate object please help me find the info on this pattern?

If it's really "common" sense, why do so few people actually have it?

ROFL !

Fenix, Replacements may not have it. There is some info here.

http://www.justglass-online.com/rt110.html

Kovels has some of the pieces listed but you have to sign up for free pricing.

Thanks Kiara! I could not believe this quote.....

::I had managed to put together a desert set in black amethyst and remember the first time I used it. Everyone complained. “Coffee tastes funny in black cups and the handles are uncomfortable to hold.::

She got rid of her beloved set - I would have gotten rid of the friends.

I don't think that Replacements ever deals in that sort of glass, at least in 8 yrs. I have never sold them any.

Fenix, I don't understand why people allow friends or family to influence their choices so much.

I've had customers get all enthused about a piece of jewelry or glassware that they fall in love with and just when they're ready to purchase it for themselves, their friend tells them that they don't like it and the sale falls through. I hate when that happens.
