Hi Folks,
I have Googled and Yahooed, but cannot find any good information regarding Gay Fad Studios. I have a few pieces that I wanted to do some research on but can't seem to find any useful information. Any good links you can think of to do some good research?

Lynne: What sort of things are they? figurines? Or? (I'm assuming Gay Fad is the name of someone???)

Actually it is a form of painted glassware. I believe that back in the 50's and 60's an artist by the name of Frances Taylor of Gay Fad Studios painted glassware that was typically made by Anchor Hocking and Fire King. But that's about all I know about it and would like to do more research but can't find anything on line. Looking for some experts out there - I know they're lurking somewhere.

Gay Fad Studios were actually located in Lancaster Ohio, it opened in the 50's and was located across the street from the Anchor Hocking factory.
They painted freehand on glassware. Mostly brightly colored fruit and polka dots.
this info was in an Antique Weekly newspaper a while back but I have since passed that edition on to my son so cannot give more info.
I hope that helps a little
