Hi Guys,
I have a moron buyer who decided he is not paying. He wanted to negotiate shipping and sent his final offer this morning (his wording). So he is not paying which I already knew yesterday. Ha Ha! I wanted to send the second chance offer to the next buyer. Now I can't file the NPB till 7 days has passed. Will sending the second chance offer now cause me any problems filing the NBP? By the time I wait out the 7 days the other bidder may not want it.

You can send a second chance offer 10 weconds after the auctions closes if you wish - it is a seconf auction and the final resolution of the orignal auction are irrelevent to ebay (remember - you could just have multipes as far as they are considered.

If it's really "common" sense, why do so few people actually have it?

I do second chance offers all the time. I probably have a 80% success rate. I would send it asap and do your NPB FVF process on the first scum bag and neg the hell out of him.

I have done a second chance only twice and both times they were accepted, but I suggest you send it right away before they give it a second thought. What happened with me when I bid on an item and lost I knew the buyer probably had more of the items so I waited for a second chance offer. It didn't come for 2 1/2 days and by that time I found the same product for less money and more product. If I had received that second chance offer right after the auction went off I would have accepted it.
