YEAH!!! Got the news on - they are waiting for DNA testing (remember, they got it from his family members?). What great news - not eBay related, but far more important.

Thanks for letting us know. This wasn't mentioned on the radio or television. Good thing I checked in here.

We can't forget Great Britain and also Tony Blair who stood by us. Over 300,000 people killed since 1968 in Hussein's regime. Great day for the people of Iraq, Iran and Afghanistan and for the world.

A number of the businesses are here are Chaldean (Iraqi Catholic) owned and it was actually during my orange juice run this morning that I found out about the capture. I can't describe how happy these people are right now. They are fluctuating between sheer joy and disbelief.

If it's really "common" sense, why do so few people actually have it?

So when can we do the charge-back for our 87-plus billion? Do we have 30 days?

I agree Libra, I am English (but live in Canada), the British have also done a great job. The war is not over yet, more lives will still be lost, not everyone will be happy at this news in Iraq.

Amber & Libra; I am 100% American, but I agree with you. In times of need, you find out who your true friends are. Sorry I can't include Canada in that group this time. They refused to participate. Maybe that had something to do with the head of goverment.

The Chinese have a phrase- "too soon to tell" If GWB can get this trial right- he'll win some admiration back from the world. If the trial is botched the iraqi people will turn against the US. They won't blame Saddam for thier trouble, not even the ones that lost family members to his evil practices. The Arab world has very clear standards they judge by, and they are not what we think of.
There was one of those indom, itable Eglish women who lived in Afghanistan inthe 70's. She went to visit some warlord, who showed off his expensive villa with the gold plated toilets etc. He said "see how rich I am?" She told him that she could care less about his wealth and if he had spent some of it on the village she would be impressed.
So- he shot her.
The villagers thought he had done the right thing. She was a foreigner, and she had insulted him!

The democrats KNOW Bush has re-election sewn up. First, Hitlary is not running (she know she won't win and doesn't want to blow her already miniscule chance).

Second, they are putting up Howard Dean.

WHO???

Anti-war bozo is beating all the Dem candidates. He's their throwaway candidate to "take one for the team."
