I was reluctant to launch auctions on FLD because I am leaving town on New Years Eve for 2 weeks.
I figured that if I asked for only Paypal and took only USA bids maybe I could take a few of the things with me and ship them from my father's house in Texas (I am escaping the Alaska snow)
I went ahead and launched some 3 day auctions which closed yesterday.
36 auctions closed with a bid. As of this evening all but one auction has been paid for. Now that some fast paying. I may have to rethink taking checks and moneyorders.

You weren't too smart, if you didn't leave any notice of when you were leaving. I hjad all of my auctions close on 12/14 so that I could receive pmnt & ship before I left on the 23. All but 2 of my aquctions were paid & shipped befor I left. I also warnmed all buyers that I would be gone from 12/23 till 12/30 & would not be able to ship until 1/2/04. Did you do that?

You can sort of see by the 300,000 dip in lastings three days after the FLD that a lot of sellers may have used the three day option.

Or it could be that those items sold on BIN

If it's really "common" sense, why do so few people actually have it?
