EBAYS FEED BACK SYSTEM SUCKS, I WORK HARD FOR POSITIVE FEED BACK AND THEN SOME S.O.B BIDS AND NEVER PAYS IS ALLOWED TO LEAVE FEED BACK ON ME.. AM I MISSING SOMETHING??

Last week I wrote an irate e-mail to Half.com on this very issue. Guy wanted a book of mine; Half.com had deleted that publisher 6 months ago (remember that??!!); the book was no longer available, of course. I responded that the book was no longer available. Then I noticed the so-called "sale" in my feedback to be left page. Like an idiot, I gave the guy positive feedback and thanked him for understanding. He gives me a neutral. Not my fault, but there it was. Argh.

Got a reply from Half.com, some guy in India!!, explaining how fair it was and it must have been my fault.

As flawed as the feedback system is there is no way feebay will hit the buyers or nonbuyer in your case.

This is why you should not waste your time with a nonpayer as it does no good. The important thing to do is file for your fees as this will leave a mark on their record.

A couple of them from other sellers and this turkey is gone from feebay.

AVERDONE, I am a slow learner and followed Ebay rules. I gave 3 negs to non paying bidders all it got me is 3 negs back. The negs stayed on my record the dead beats are long gone. Its been this way for years. Great system Ebay!!!

I just had a bidder from Argentina who won one of my auctions and emailed about combined shipping for another that he was bidding on. He wins the second auction and no reply since the 18th Jan. So I go to send a payment reminder and he is NARU. Do you think I can still neg him? Of course I will file for fees.
Regards,
Adrian.

AVERDON: Most of us don't appreciate foul language. Also, you can be suspended from this thread by Vendio. Ask JACKS WEB.

Sanmar, there is a program here that doesn't allow certain words and it will censor them if you type them. Otherwise everything else seems to pass okay as there are no Mods.

If you type #*!@ and #*!@ it won't go through. Or I hope it won't or I'm in trouble!

Jack was suspended for bad words? I must have missed that one.

ebay could fix this glitch in feedback...once a seller files for NPB and FVF, they could make the ability to leave feedback unavailable for that auction.

they make changes we don't want or need, why can't they make this one?

Wow, if that was foul language I wonder what you call what I've been known to use?

sanmar, I mean no disrespect but I don't see any foul language from averdone. Calling a non paying bidder that leaves a neg to a seller a (son of a female dog) fits that kind of buyer. Like I have said before that's only my 2 cents and who the heck really cares anyway.

I have a winning bidder now with 48 feedbacks and 4 of them are negs. She won't answer my email so guess I am number 5. Am I allowed to give you her user ID in case you want to block her??

They way it should be

1. Seller files NPB alert - niether party can leave feedback

2. Bidder does not pay by 10 day point- only Seller can leave feedback after filining for FVF

3. Bidder pays and it is mutually agreed to remove NPB warning, feedback is removed and no feedback to be left by either party.

End of transaction

AVERDONE -- Don't listen to the Bozos who tell you not to leave a neg. Everybody uses the feedback system but some people don't want to do their part.

If you don't leave a neg for fear of retaliation, guess what? The other guy wins.
Besides, 90% of people won't retaliate. I have left my share of negs and NEVER been retaliated against.

Finally, so what if you get a neg? If your other feedback is good no one will hold it against you.

As of today, knock on wood, I have no negs posted in my feedback. That is not to say I don't leave neg feedback when needed, I just wait untill the 89th day after the auction ended to post the negs. By the time it is noticed by the deadbeat its to late for them to leave any neg feedback for me. I think most deadbeats don't remember. I also request my ebay fees be returned.

Amazing;
Been here since early 1998 have said the following yet you don't Liston.

Never NEVER leave feed back first.

Have a PLAN... Mine is in my TOS (Boiler plate)that I "return" like type feedback.

I have some incidents on a earlier response I just refer them to my TOS.

I have not had a negative or a neutral in two years.

Feed back is NOT why you sell, money is, so have a plan and follow it.

Good selling to you

David

Never NEVER leave feed back first

Yeah, and then these same people who do listen are in here complaining that they are not getting any feedback at all...

As Buyer I NEVER leave feedback first never ever...

I feel if a seller doesn't back their product with some feedback, then I sure as hell am not going to.

Why would eBay fix something that they don't think is broken? If you don't understand National Socialism, just shut up and salute along with everybody else.
