Swapmeet seller on e bay yells out hey e bay man! Me, l@@king left and right.

What's up?

Got a BIG problem.

tell me, tell me.

O.K. He sold his item, quite pricy! well $300.00! his buyer drags feet for a month to pay, he's is a very mild type. No pressure, just waits, for $300.00 even I,,,,,,ain't gonna be pushy when were talking $300.00. sold in Nov 5. payment comes in Dec.1, a month. flu season, rain, Holidays, I know the picture,,,this guy ain't no Spring chicken ya know,,,,Sanmar are you here? hahahahah,,,,,

O.K, month goes by,,,Dec. Seller decides ya know what, OH! He sold a huge floor buffer, BIG and HEAVY. I can imagine that packing job. what do I tell him,,

NO SHIPPING! PICK UP ONLY! He said yeah yer right. I never realized the physical WORK it was gonna take. I just ain't got the energy.

He e mailed the buyer and said, I am just gonna send yer money back, win some lose some. I mean took the buyer a month! to pay!

He gave the check to a nearby office to mail for him.

He came back to his e baying and saw he had a NEW feed back. Great! it's NEG!!!!!!! Says he never got his "item".

He runs back over to the Office grabs the check and cashes it!

Tells the winner to go to [] trade and open a case and remove the feed back. And that he would then refund the money.

nothing was heard from the buyer so HE opened a case, (his $20.00) He really wants to refund but he is not too happy seeing the neg. and then giving the money back to boot?

The buyers reply in his square trade case was, See you in court!

I laughed,,,,He paid [] trade $20.00

The mediator said, I guess this means the case is closed. wham!!!!! they got his $20.00!!!! squaretrade calls THAT negotiations,,,,and they CLOSED the case.

I said I'd tell his tale on a board where some pretty smart folks can kick it around.

See ya next Saturday with what they say.

He's a nervious as a...____________.

Law suit? from just selling on e bay? Yup there are some real loonies out there.

What a story!
Better go restring your Violin.

The buyer may have taken 2 weeks to pay, which is not that long.

His second mistake was cashing that check when he knew he had no intentions of shipping the item. That's fraud and the buyer not only can sue for the $300.00, he can collect damages on top of that. The buyer can also file a criminal complaint. He better quit playing games and get that buffer into a box and ship it to the buyer tomorrow. At this stage of the game, the neg is the least of his worries. As a non delivering seller, Ebay may likely give him the boot if the buyer complqains to Ebay.

The light at the end of the tunnel will turn out to be an oncoming train.
