So I get this e-mail from another registered eBay seller (looks like they sell Apple computer parts). This is in regard to a book auction of mine, and the e-mail to me reads:
According to copyright laws and licenses. According to Radha Soami Satsang Beas you do not have the correct permissions to sell any RSSB(Radha Soami Satsang Beas) Merchandise or Books online without the written consent of RSSB India. Please remove this merchandise you have immediately. If these listings are not removed or written consent from RSSB India is not obtained within 24 hours legal action will be taken. So please
kindly remove these items.
Thank you for your great understanding.
>> No name, nothing, so I send this reply:
As you have not signed either your name, your legal affiliation with the publisher, or any other information that would show your request is credible, I have to assume you are only trying to interfere with a perfectly legal used book auction.
You are welcome to provide your full name, address, legal connection that certifies you are a representative approved by the publisher and professionally acting on their behalf, and only then would such a request from you be considered.
If I do not receive this necessary information from you, I may have to report your actions and e-mails to the eBay Safeharbor Investigations team.
>> What would you do? Is this just one of those nutbar situations, or a push comes to shove one?

Turn it in to Ebay. Check the headers and forward that info to Ebay as well. Till you hear from a real legal department just carry on.

Email him and tell him that you have a choice of two places to park that book. The first is on Ebay. See if he can guess your second choice.
The light at the end of the tunnel will turn out to be an oncoming train.
