easydropoff in florida? ... he's raked in "some" bucks in the past week, even with the high starting price and not much sell-through rate ...

with his starting prices and sell throught rate, can you imagine his ebay fees? personally, i would be a bit uneasy about bidding on his high ticket items since he only has a 4 feedback. but that's me.

Someone give that man a copy of Photoshop Elements! I see he has not yet heard of cropping and sizing for the internet. I looked at several of his pictures to see if the plastic push pin was going to be his signature but only found it in two of them before I gave up.

Bummer! BAD LSD trip! That is just plain obnoxious! Having to scroll over and up and the photo coming up in strips@#$&^ with blank screen all over the place. Someone email this guy/gal. I can't believe anyone would bid on his auctions and for those prices. Which from what I could tell the so called peacock feather ties are definitely not peacock feather, at least the first one with the jagged edge isn't. I couldn't see the other one well.

I need some aspirins now.

aintrichyet, thanks for the update.

This is the info from the original article.

Becker charges a $20 listing fee and 30 percent commission, if the item sells; the listing fee is returned upon sale. If items sell for more than $10,000, Becker cuts his commission to 15 percent. If the item doesn't sell in 10 days, it's returned and Becker keeps the fee.

He has listed 348 auctions and only about 50 have sold so he gets to keep a lot of the fees it seems.

I wish I could have the opportunity to get my hands on some of the things that he does. But like I've already said, here is a seller with absolutely no knowledge of the items he's listing and he is clueless about how to do auctions. Hopefully the people who are dropping off the goodies will find someone better in that city.

You're welcome, kiara ... I was just following those auctions because I couldn't imagine he would end up getting ANY bids.

I picture this young dude in the affluent West Palm Beach ... well-to-do quite-older folks droppin' stuff off at his door. ... he calls them to pick up their 'item' that didn't sell ... half of them forget to go pick up their stuff, and he gets to keep it. LOL ...

A flat $20 listing fee is a good idea, where-as he probably also asks them, 'tell me what you want to get for this, and that's what I'll start the bidding at' [all them folks gave him thier antiques-roadshow price]

"Gold Embellished Crucifix"
yoiks!
No indication of any real gold. Is that paint or enamel?
It's got to be a shill. Or a sucker.

wow, kiara ... "He has listed 348 auctions and only about 50 sold" ... $20 x 300 non-sales = $6,000 raked in, less ebay listing fees. ...

not bad.
