OK I know that not everyone will list their curent best suppliers, but list some that people can use and it wont bother u.

I will start
I used to use this supplier all the time but moved on to distribute only 1 type of product. They are still a great supplier and someone can probably find something of worth in here.

I just updated my new website - give me your feedback on it.

I'm going to have to think on that one. On the one hand, I might not be using a supplier any more, but on the other, if they get something good in, I want them to call ME, not YOU.

So, uh-uh, I don't think so.

You want suppliers? Invest the bucks and go to a few trade shows. Meet up with us at the AMD/ASD show in Vegas in August.

Yeah but... there are mandatory excursions...
Casino Royal for some good natured low stakes, just for fun games
MGM Grand to for the high stakes crap games - there's always a hot roll or two that can be played successfully for awhile.
New York, New York for the dueling piano bar. and of course...
Sunday brunch at The Mirage for a full scale raid of the Coconut Macaroon supply.....

Damn, now you got me thinking of those macaroons .

Well, come on down!

We'll be at the Mirage. I haven't stayed there before. My usual LV pied a terre is the Bellagio.

I would love to actually but starting next month I'm going to be flying back to my mothers every couple weeks to help clean out her storage units, pack up the house, decide what I want and help her learn the art of ebaying that which neither of us wants. (best to start now since once she moves I'm supposed to help her esttablish a new home business). Between that and working the new site I think I'm going to have my hands full. I was looking at maybe some late Sepetember, October shows to start checking out.

Speaking of sites... how is yours coming? Maybe you should reccommend it to Toben

Cheryl - Vegas is a blast. It's four days of fun and debauchery. Any more than that gets a little monotonous but for four days there is great food for next to nothing, free drinks, tons of fun at the tables and then there is the "people watching" which in Vegas is a sport that reaches a whole new level!!

Hi ...here's one...the Hong Kong Business directory. 100,000s of potential suppliers with emails, etc.
It includes all sorts of products...jewelry, dolls, dolls, pens, electronics, fishing, toys, tools, computer gear, etc

If you want to start wheeling and dealing in tupperware, plastic kid's toys and dirty baby clothes, we have hundreds of suppliers in our area that are open every Saturday morning.

Actually, I might post a link to one of my suppliers but I want to cut a deal with him first to get a commission.

It's decidedly untrendy to actually buy merchandise to put on eBay.

The real fortunes are being made by those who get the stuff for free.

OMG!! tober88, do you think that anyon e in their right mind would give away their secrets? As for me, follow me around to all of the estate sales I go to every weekend. I don't try to compete with anyone, just do my thing with china & collectibles. Scan through of the various categories & maybe you will find your niche.

There was a poster on these boards about 3 years ago who claimed everything he sold on Ebay was retrieved from dumpsters or various sources of discards. Also, there is a vendor at our local flea market who operates a cleanup service. He hauls away junk left from evictions, floods, fires and other abandoned property. He stocks his booth at the flea with gleaned merchandise.

fluffythewondercat I don’t know which of the multitude of LV conventions you go to, but we have been going out there for many years, and we never had the time for playing, nor did I feel like it, after walking and studying product all day, at the shows we attend. Of course we carry widely divergent products, and one of the shows we attend covers a couple of the hotel convention centers plus the Sand Convention Center and the LV Convention Center, and at a good pace, we often can’t get through it in 4 days.

*** As far as “sharing” suppliers, why would anyone give away the source of their products? It costs money to go to these convention, it costs time and energy, and adeptness to make profitable product deals and we should give such away!!!!!!!!! Sorry, but serious sellers will find product, and others, well if you don’t have enough interest to locate good suppliers, there is no reason those of us who have worked, searched, and paid to go to national conventions to locate such, should give it to those who don’t care enough to obtain such for themselves.

Sorry, my recommendation for a supplier is UPS.

There are also tradeshows in Chicago I have never been and have a friend trying to talk me into it. The only thing I would be interested in is Silk Flowers I have plenty of suppliers for ever thing else. But you can also keep doing searches on the internet and find new companies all the time. Its part of the job.
