Was this a good Rummage or Estate Sale Day?
For me is was rather good. I planned on going to 1 sale ended up all day running around. Of course after my rummage sales I had to go to my favorite thrift shop. Did really good today. Even donated to the Relay for Life at their rummage sale. Felt good about that.
Lots of Jewelry, 20 Vintage Hot Pads never used. Laurel Burch large tote bag, my favorite designer, numerous other items. Now since I am moving in a week and a half I have to pack it.

Hey -- had a great day at an estate auction today. First buy for $15.00 was a box (flat) stacked full of U.S. postage stamps - many from 1994 (32-cents).
Got home and had to catalog them -- 68 different sets with total face value of $298.40! Hell, if I just use them to cover costs of shipping, that was a good find. However, I just did a search a few minutes ago for some of them and they're selling for $10-11 for $6.40 face value.
Also picked up a Noritake Chocolate set. I love it when the auctioneer identifies it as just "Nippon" and it's really an early Noritake mark.... Also just realized when I looked now, I let an 1891 Noritake set go for $185 and should have taken it higher!
We did get another Chocolate set from a Rhode Island manufacturer. Don't know anything about the manufacturer, but I thought it was interesting, since I hadn't seen a decent set from the U.S.
Even picked up a bunch of agate or enamel ware - plenty of small old dippers, covered pots, etc. They were going for $5-6 each and I couldn't let them go for that. Even if I place them in our eBay store through the summer, it'll be the place anyone can come to find it, huh?
In the process of having the kitchen renovated, floors refinished, etc. so listing isn't going as quickly as we had hoped. Now have more than $1000 in collectibles in boxes and no time to put them up. Can't wait until later in the summer to get things caught up. Might even keep some of this until the fall so that we realize some decent prices, too.

Shameless prom picture plug lol....Walmarts did this one today
Nothing as far as sales go here. It hasn't stopped raining long enough. It has rained almost every weekend here in Cleveland and it's expected to rain next weekend as well. To be quite honest - I'm as sick of the rain as I was of the snow. I think I may be getting too old for this weather. The bones are aching and the sinuses are throwing a fit!

OOO! I want some of those audio books! We are going to drive across the country and mystery books on tape are what keeps us going. We only have one used book to take and I can't see buying new ones for a one time use. I did not think to start tooking on eBay in time to buy any. I think I will visit the library to see if they are getting rid of any.
