I just got my eBay stores report this morning. They talked about a new partership they created with a company named Omniture. This company now provides eBay store sellers with statistical information about their stores... for free! Information includes page hits, unique visitors, search engine references, most common search terms... and more. I took a look at it, and it's pretty neat! Thought I'd share it with the rest of you. To access your traffic report, go to the following link:

http://cgi6.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?StoreMgmtAdminConsole

and click on the "View your store traffic report" link. It's nice to see eBay doing something useful for us sellers... and not charging for it!

That was pretty neat. I will have to spend more time looking at the data. I found it strange that only about 10% of the people who visit my store and auctions also visit my feedback page. (If I'm reading it right???)

Thanks for the link, interesting, but WAY TOO SLOW loading, I prefer the Sellathron "View Tracker," it is MUCH MUCH FASTER to work with, and time is money.

Be careful of using any stats provide by ebay. They are known to make them up as they go. For example even from this topic.

10% of people are looking at my about me page. We already know that the percentage is less than 2% across the board of people that actually look at about me pages. For once, I agree with jwpc. It is best to use an independent like sellathon for your statistics.

Regarding the stats on the "About ME," page. At one time I put a counter on my "about me" page just to see what type of traffic it actually received, and you are about right, although my numbers were even lower - they were less than 1%.

YOU, are right not trusting eBay's stats - I'll stay with Sellathon.

And as I said, beyond that, the eBay system of "traffic reporting," at least for me, was slower than molasses!
