This is a really pretty amethyst carnival glass vase I found at our shop ... the pattern reminds me a little bit of what a peacock's tail looks like ... there are no makers marks on it ... have any of you seen one of these before?
Thanks, in advance

While it does resemble a Peacocks tail, when checking my book, nothing was even close in the many Peacock lines.
It is Bull's Eye and Loop by Millersburg.

Can I ask--is that a piece of marble or a rug or what, in the background? Very pretty!

That's sounds only fitting to me, Max! ... I wouldn't have known without you. Let's do it ebay and see what it brings ...

I am wrestling right now with decision of using a Reserve or not (like the seller of item number 3729427606 did) ... I hate reserves.

I think I'll just start it out at close to what my deceased dad-in-law's price tag was, and see where it goes.

Am I allowed to refer to that website page as a hotlink within my description? and if so, how do I enter the html to do so. (I use vendio)

edited to add: 'never mind' I see that Millersburg pieces do 'just fine' on their own merits ... thanks again ...

i don't think you can put the link in your auctions, but you can always refer them to the Millersburg book.

Thanks, Max. ... this auction is off to nice start. Much nicer than we've had in awhile, anyway ... already 10 "watchers" and plenty of "hits".
