Hello to all,
I am trying to figure out if Vendio's gallery would be cost effective and (most of all) helpful. I sell several different types of items. I want a cross promotional tool that will allow me to promote widgets along with thingus's without having to redo the cross promotions every time I do a listing or sell one item. With ebay's cross promotions, I have to manually go in and do this for each auction or change the promotion category all together. I want to show one of the same category and one from each of the different categories or at least have a selection from all of the different categories shown. Have I confused everyone yet???
Well, anyway, your thoughts would be appreciated.
Kevin
I use the gallery and my sales have picked up. I don't have any way of knowing for sure it was the gallery. I think it was though.
The items shown in your gallery are from the same category as the auction the buyer is in. However, they can click around on the gallery and see other categories and even all your auctions.

I list about 50 new auctions per month at the minimum. Sometimes more than that depending on sales. I also have about 100 items in the ebay store at any given time. most of these are roll overs from auction but there are a few new items each month that never see auction. This will probably increase for the Christmas season. Right now I have 170 items on ebay.

I LOVE the Vendio Gallery. My lookers picked up dramatically as soon as I began using it, and my sales are better, too. It's well worth the price. I started in (I think) April and am very pleased with it. You can try it for a month or two and opt out, if you don't like it, I think.
GTootie: Are you sure that the items shown in the gallery are only from the same category as the auction the buyer has clicked on? My gallery shows many different categories--books, old pipes, etc. etc.

After you asked I went in and looked to be sure. Turns out I was only some what right and I learned something. When I chose an item that I only had a couple in that category, the gallery showed All Categories. When I chose one that have several, I only saw that category.
It looks like it does that all through the sub-categories. In other words when I looked at a Chow Dog which is listed in Collectibles > Animals > Dog > Chow Chow the gallery showed items I had listed in Collectibles > Animals > Dog. I only have a couple of Chows. But when I looked at a Cocker Spaniel which is in Collectibles > Animals > Dog > Cocker Spaniel the gallery showed everything in Collectibles > Animals > Dog > Cocker Spaniel because I have about 20 Cockers. When I chose a picture frame, which I only have 3 of I saw All Categories.

Okay, next question. Is there some way to go out and look at one on someone's active auctions?? I know that I am begging trouble here but... I really would like to see one in action.

Once again, Thank You!! It looks like it can and will do what I need it to do. The load speed isn't bad either. I have been to auctions where they use A and they seem to take way to long.
Oh, I have added you to my list for my Christmas shopping. I have a couple of people who love dogs and cats that I will be able to make very happy!

With only 50 auctions per month, I would use it.
I was at first and didn't notice that they charge $.05 per listing after the first 100 each month.
