? why would you call the 877 number? they paid for the call, so whoever it is now has your phone number. not too hard from there to get a name, street address, etc.

Just delete it and move on. I get hundreds of spams a day, including a dozen or more spoofs concerning eBay or Paypal or somewhere else every afternoon.
If I *DID* something about each and every one, I would be doing nothing else.
It's generally a good thing to try to take responsibility and help others by "doing something" about these, but it's not going to help. These people are criminals and scammers. Shut them down today, they'll be back online tonight. The only thing to do is ignore them.

replay//you right too-so it wont help...but if the post should just maybe help one person, then that is why it is valuable..cause you right, it sure hell wont stop the spamers.

Mine was funny, it said that someone was using my account to purchase $24,975.00 worth of jewelry in Italy and was that O.K. I answered them that sure that was fine but to be sure to get her name so I can 'visit' the jewelry.
Sometimes I just have a mean streak and want to mess with their minds. I bet they get pretty excited when they get an answer until they opened it.
