Since October 10th, of the 8 payments made to me through Paypal, I have only received their e-mail notifications for 2 of them.

Five made today; wouldn't have known unless bidders contacted me about them, or I checked my Paypal account myself; just a heads-up to everyone ~ you may be missing e-mails or they may be coming extremely late ~ don't get negged from impatient bidders just cuz Paypal is FUBAR.

I had 5 auctions end and have received 1 paypal payment Yea!!! to the wrong email address Boo!!!!!! I have been trying to change that email address for over a month. Well half go to one email address and the rest to the other email address. I have emailed them twice. I did what they said nothing is working. Is this right. I put an auction on went into the payment area changed my email address to my new one, well old now, then I ended the auction. Anyone have any suggestions? I have one quit taking paypal.

I think it would be interesting to take 20 sellers who suddenly stop taking PayPal and see what the dead beat rate is in the next month as opposed to the previous months when they did accept PayPal.

OH - and BTW - I have gotten all of my notices today and am an AOL users which to read these boards would prevent that from ever being true.

If it's really "common" sense, why do so few people actually have it?

Update: 1 payment e-mail just came in, it was generated at 5:45 a.m. this morning, arrived 10:30 evening, that's how far behind the PP system is!

I know what you mean. I have had a few sellers able to pay and got nothing from Pay Pal, even before they crashed. Went into my mail this morning and there were 2 notices neatly placed as if they had arrived days ago. And here I thought only ebay did that with Fee Notices. I do so hope that someday they get all of this fixed. Well, back to thinking on how to handle personal checks.

Hello
Pay Pals e-mail system has ALWAYS been unreliable. Even when we had a rep here on this board it was said to check your account.

When I was selling I made it a habit to check PP daily and thus solved many problems.
Kind regards from Ivan country.
