Hi everybody. If you sell something out of your Ebay store, does Ebay send you an end of auction notice - like it does for regular auction items?

Yes though it is worded a little differently - "end of transaction" instead of "sale" or something like that. (I don't have email open on this computer to check)

It's a lot cheaper than listing 4,000 items @ 35 cents each! My store sales alone have been enough to qualify as a Power Seller and I really do think that I have more auction exposure since I opened my store 18 months ago. Of course all of this is subject to change and my sales ( both store and auction) have been AWFUL since ebay started the new search feature. The items I list in my store are my "underappreciated" items (already listed and relisted) that I am not wanting to sink more listing fees into.

Thanks for the reply, Neglus.

I'm very small time - but I did open a store last night. It has 19 items in it so far. I was surprised to see that some of them already have hits. Surprised because I don't have any auctions running. I'm starting a batch of auctions later tonight. I didn't expect to see any store activity until I had auctions up.

Store traffic has been increasing as awareness of the items listed there has improved - biggest change was the displaying of store inventory items if less than 10 items came up on a search.

Check out your Stores Traffic report (under Manage Store) and see where your traffic is coming from - good info to know.

The nice thing about the store is that most buyers buy several items,of course I do give a discount on shipping.
