Anyone know how long has this been available?

I added a seller to my "favorite" list, and was presented with the option of receiving an email periodically with that seller's listings.

Is this is new? I like the option both as a buyer and a seller.

Saw it last week and my only thought was: Great, More spam and maybe a new batch of spoofs! (I get an average of 5-10 spoofs per day) Sorry, wasn't very impressed.
