Hey All:
This guy from Canada left me three Negative Feedbacks this morning for no reason. He also left 5 other people Negatives for no reason as well, and now has a Feedback rating on Ebay of 25%. My Question is...how do I get "Rid", of the 3 negatives he left for me, obviouly assuming he's not going to cooperate with the mutual Feedback removal process?
Cheers,
RC

He Left me 3 Negatives For "No Reason"!! He went on a "Negative Feedback Rampage", and Left Neagative Feedbacks for 5 other Ebayers Today/1-10-05. I didn't even file a NPB for this guy....his feedback score is now 25%....who should I contact?

If people can neg him back, it shouldn't be long until he is NARU'd, and then the negs will be removed from your rating.

Steve,

This time your are mistaken. The negs stay. Even with the removal process, all that is removed is that stupid red mark. The neg comments stay.

Excel,

Have a drink and get over it. Nothing you can do about it anyway. File your NPB and FVF so you can at least get some satisfaction.

stonecold,

Doesn't the neg come off your ranking, and the red mark removed, if someone is NARU'd?

It doesn't really matter much if a negative comment is buried deep within positive comments.

I thought you couldnt get NARU'd as a buyer unless you had three NPB's filed against you..??? Negatives arent going to NARU him are they?

Perhaps it SHOULD come off your record, but it doesn't. I would contact ebay and see if it could be removed. I would think that this is the perfect reason to have it removed, someone who did this just because.

Also, getting negative feedback does not cause you to be suspended, only if the seller files UID on them. I had a buyer not pay me for 18 items, over $200, I filed UID, and they now have 77 NEGS IN ONE MONTH FROM 23 SELLERS, and they are still active. I know that at least one of the other sellers have file UID, so I wrote to eBay today to ask what was going on, I just can't beleive no-one else has filed!

Originally, when an Ebayer got NARU'd, all feedback comments left by him would be automatically converted to neutrals. That policy changed 6 years ago. The comments will stay unless you can convince Ebay that his user account was created soley for the purpose of leaving feedback. It's a long shot, but with the 5 other members he left negs for that day, it's worth a shot.

Do the UPI strikes work the same as feedback? You have to have 3 strikes from 3 different sellers?

Give us a hint who that buyer may be so we can block them.
