Hmmmm...I was looking at the O for Fluffy's jewelry and under Fluffythewondercat she's not listing anything.

I miss Fluffy!! She made this board a whole lot more fun!
She is selling on ebay under the one ID I know. I don't think she wants her id's published on this board and I respect that

me too, neglus. She/he (some say she was a he?)- was pretty caustic and it was always very humorous (providing you werent the one on the other end of it! hahaha!) but she pretty much told some hard knock truths, even so.

My business has taken me in some new directions the past year or so and I don't check in here as often as I used to but I always enjoyed reading Fluffy's words of wisdom and her take on doing business from her past and present experiences. She had an 'edge' that was refreshing but it seems like some here couldn't take it? Sometimes boards need less fluff and a bit more Fluffy. JMHO

Yes...I miss her and her bits of wisdom to. She had opinions just like the rest of us...she was just a bit more vocal.

In case you are wondering why Fluffy is no longer on the Vendio board, she was suspended. I don't know the reason, but she told me so several months ago.
posted on February 23, 2005 11:58:18 AM new
As sanmar said, she was suspended. Then, she came back under a different name (right under the nose of Vendio) and when she was found out by some of us on this board, she left. It's a simple as that. She could dish it out, but she couldn't take it herself.

Cheryl, I thought she took it as well as dished it out. I also thought she probably took the most troll hits and having her auctions messed with than anybody because of what she posted here. And she took it all in stride and made huge entertaining stories out of it for our amusement.

fluffy reminds me of a pickle, something which is served with your order of pastrami sandwich on rye when you go to a deli, take it or leave it.
I think she also posted once under a diff id where she talked about how her better half belittled her ebay selling and that her equity in the house is worth 400k.
May be she finally cashed in on her house and never have to work again!

She was condescending and rude. Heaven help you if she got you in her claws. Remember imateacher? I think that was the name. None other than you-know-who. Tried to hide the fact, but the true fluff came out. Now, watch her website and all of us here who dare to speak our minds will be mentioned.

I concur, there is a distinct difference in knowledge and condescending and crude remarks.
I have never thought rudeness, crudeness and condescending talk even on a BB is funny or acceptable.
Some do think it is cute, coy or comical but in fact it is tacky and sometimes cruel.
I am no prune but I know when people have no regard for the feelings of others.
LOL,I even enjoy Tom and Ralphie (even if TOM is politically wrong)
They do offer help to all who ask.
Jack,Marc,Neglus,Lucy,Glassgrl,Sparkz,Roadsmith,Rusty,Cta, Helga (LOVE HER NICKNAME) and many others I can not remember at the moment all have a wonderful sense of humor but they are not condescending,do not act superior or rude.

I agree. I always found her rude and downright mean. Especially to new people. Those were the ones she came at the hardest. Heaven help one who asked a question that had been answered anytime within the last 5 years.

She hasn't changed that website since the election. From the tone of it, she's allienated every democrat she may have had as a customer!

The cost of silver has gone sky high and that may be the reason? Most of my suppliers have tacked on a surcharge of 15%. I've stopped buying it for now until the price comes down. Either that or they couldn't deal with her attitude anymore.
I don't wish her ill. However, she needs what my mother calls an "attitude adjustment".

Cheryl, yes I remember that user name. But so what, really? This is the Internet -people shed and change skins all the time. Why is it okay to have more than one seller/buyer ID, but not posting ID??? Maybe she was rude and condescending at times, but far from the only one on this board to be so.
I learned alot from reading her posts.
If I remember right, the last 'into it' you had with her was about a listing of yours of some complaint disputing 14kt and 14kt gold filled?? I may be wrong, but I think she was hard on you because she expected you to know better? I do think the one remark to someone else which probably got her suspended, was extremely forward and probably hurtful to the recipient, but that was her. (oh brother.., feel like I'm talking about a dead person now! lol - Fluffy's eulogy!)

It's against Vendio's rules to have more than one posting I.D. If they find out about it, they will suspend both I.D.'s.

I know that sparkz...I am just saying. Its like everybody makes up stupid names to be annoymous, (yeah right) and then others want to control that too. btw, do any of you read the RT and see some of the sh* crowfarm posts to people?????? And you complain about Fluffy?
posted on February 23, 2005 03:48:19 PM new
but Sparkz ... I think I disagree with what you say about vendio not letting you have more than one ID ... they insist! on it if you want to sell thru ebay with more than 1 ebay ID.
vendio has you hold entirely separate account, if you sell on ebay under 2 or more ID's ... that is my understanding.

Again, she didn't do it to be annonymous. She did it because as fluffy she was suspended. She was still suspended when she came up with the other name to pull the wool over Vendio's eyes. A no-no for which she knows better.
She knows a lot, but she doesn't know everything. Right, Lucy? You know of what I speak! Now, what was the name of that pan again?
PS This is NOT the RT. Here that kind of behavior is not tolerated! There is a reason most here stay away from the RT and choose to post here. It's a lot saner. Fluffy, at times, belonged on the RT.

Why, Cheryl, you must mean Aebleskiver? (As opposed to escargot...) That really was kind of funny!
Boy, Ole' Fluff just wouldn't give up. Until I posted the pic of me cooking the darn things, that is. I don't think we heard from her again in that thread.
As far as Vendio allowing more than one ID, yes, they do. The suspension stuff comes into play when a person violates Community Guidelines, which Fluffy did.

You can have a dozen different accounts on Vendio, with a different ID for each. You have to pick one of those I.D.'s to post with and stick with it. You are not allowed to post on Vendio under any of the other names. This was enforced rigorously when we had Mods on the boards. It is still explained on occasion on the services board when the question comes up.
