I've noticed over the past couple of weeks or so that the bidding goes well, and then it completely STOPS about a few hours before the auction is scheduled to close. No last minute bidding. I can't figure out what's going on. Does anybody have a clue as to why this is happening? Usually my auctions run right up to the last minute, but not recently. Thanks oh most knowledgeable Vendionians!

I wish I had an answer Diane, mine are doing the same thing. I keep expecting those last minute bids, and nothing!

Now that you mentioned it - I have the same problem??
Do you think this could be an ebay glitch or something?

Yes Diane, it really is a let down. When you get several early bids, you are sure that there will be a bidding war at the end, but it's just not happening. I am finding a lot of my auctions selling with one bid. It's tempting to put the initial bid price up, but then I might not get bids at all.

AMBER -- I'm not changing anything. I figured that it has worked for the last year and it is just a dry spell. I had a really great week in January (sold $750), but now it's like phhhhhhst. Total let down.

Just a thought--have you noted when your auctions are ending? Is there some big TV event or such that is pulling bidders away from their computers?
