We are closing the office early today. IMO it doesn't look that bad out there but..... I am not happy about my packages not going out today . At least I can catch up on somethings I have to do at home. : )

They're closing early because travel during the evening commute will be dangerous. You're about to get hit by one of the biggest storms this year:

Talk about a last hurrah before we go to Colorado (if ever at the rate we are going & the house is not selling). They are predicting up to 10" for the NYC area with flurries until Wed. Then ok Thurs and Fri and more snow Sat and Sun. Grrr Oh I mean brrr. And the Realtor wants to have an open house this w/e Yeah right!

Hope all those that are snowed in go browsing for spring scarves on eBay!

It is big time snowing here ~ they closed the mall where I work early tonight. The roads are horrible. The local weathermen are comparing this storm to the likes of the Perfect Storm because there are 2 different storms hitting us at one time causing all of this snow.

We had a snow day from school today and most likely will have one tomorrow.

I dont' mind ~ I like the snow as long as I'm not driving in it.

We're supposed to get it tonight, tomorrow and Wednesday. Once this front goes through, we have another one coming down from Canada. So far it's been raining all day which should make it really fun once temps go below freezing! I expect to be scraping ice as well as snow off the car tomorrow morning. Enough is enough already!

What's a Snow Day?

Okay, sorry, just couldn't help my little self...

The storms have left The United States of California. It was clear and bright and sunny here today. Gorgeous blue skies with white puffy clouds drifting along their merry way. So pretty with the hills all green.

Warm and nice too. In the low '70s.

Lucy...After the rain left you, it moved over here and doused us good. The sun came out and started heating things up, then a cold air mass came over and we had a funnel cloud over the FedEx office at the airport. I had been in there shipping packages 40 minutes earlier. Luckily it didn't touch down.

Where are you, Parklane?

Just one other thing... What's twitterpation?

You lost me. Not hard to do.

Sparkz, that's what you get for living in the San Joe-Ack-In Valley!

I hope the funnel cloud didn't get any of my cuzzin's walnut tree shakers. Wouldn't want you to miss your yearly allergies.

I live right on the PA/NY line and we didn't get as much as they were calling for on Monday, about half. Today they are calling to be our bad day. Light snow right now.

Marcia

It pretty much missed us, too! Yea! Unfortunately, we have a round of lake effect stuff coming in from Canada. It will be snowing through Thursday here. On the lighter side, it won't accumulate all at once!

Ken and I have Peninsula fever! We can't wait to come down. I need a Fisher's rootbeer! We're going to get you and Tom on bikes if it takes all summer!

Well..... here on the Canadian border in New Hampshire the sun is shining, skies are blue... and I'm still in bed dreaming about 4 months from now!!! It is snowing like it has not snowed here all winter, this is a December storm. The ONLY thing that keeps my little chin off the desk is knowing that in 3 weeks we are leaving for the Round Top show in south Texas. Sunshine, blue skies, green fields, bluebonnets and Indian paint brush... I am so looking forward to saying GOODBYE to snow and cold!
Now off to do listings so I have gas money Bonnie

We got all of 1/4" from that storm. However, since around noon the Lake Erie snow machine has been turned on and we have blizzard like conditions. So far, it's up to 4" and still coming down hard. Joy of joys.

Cheryl at 6:45 pm its still snowing here and is now very cold. We are supposed to get your lake generated snows tonight and tomorrow. At 6 pm Manchester said we had had 12" up north I put it at 14 at my house then. I told my snow bunny (Florida in the winter) Mom and Dad that I pulled my shades about 4:30 and am going to paint summer scenes on them tomorrow so I can "get through". I think lovely scenes of Tuscany in June will do the trick!!!

Hi all and Cheryl ... ; not ignoring you Cheryl; just thinking about what aching muscles I might have a couple months from now. LOL ... we don't even have BIKES yet!

intermittent white-outs in NE Ohio, like Cheryl said, going on all day and probably night, here ... maybe snow day tomorrow? ... our forecasters are only right 50/50 ........... they say, like all kinds of weather? move to Ohio. Never know what we'll get ...
