I picked up some china in the Berkshire pattern. It has an "A" inside of a crest and was wondering if this is Noritake???

Show us a pic and we might be able to help. Doesn't sound like any Noritake I've seen in person or in the Noritake marks listing I have.

Would like the challenge of locating it if we get a pic though.

Is it marked Empress anywhere? Why are you calling it Empress? Just curious, because there was an old 1930s pattern called Empress sold by Sears, Roebuck. Gold patterned lip to the plate and a rose in the center.

There are 22 patterns of "Berkshire" none by Noritake. There is one with an A this is "Altrohau". What do you mean by Empress China if the pattern is Berkshire?

thanks Wayne - will get some pics and put them on. Just got back from a 3 week vacation so have a bunch to do.

Roady - Yes it says EMPRESS CHINA and there is the gold lip and rose in the center. Will get some pics on

Sanmar - that is interesting.

I found it in Replacements and looks like a match. It is under empress china

No Sanmar - its not Altrohau.
Replacements has it right on the nose but can't find any prices to compare
