I had someone from Germany send an electronic funds transfer that is pending.

It shows in my account as pending, the money isnt' there and the PayPal email says that they have to do the transfer themselves.

What does this mean? is it like an e check? How long does it take for the funds to transfer?

Add to my list of already waiting for 5 pending's to go through ~ now it's 6!

Maybe I am over cautious but I wouldn't use Paypal for any buyer outside the United States. I would either use a Western Union money transfer or Bidpay. Too much fraud for me to worry about otherwise. You can call Paypal. Did you try that?

I get the same thing when one of my Denmark customers sends payment via PayPal. It takes a few days for it to clear but the customer has already had the money debited from their bank account, now you are just waiting for PayPal to aknowledge receipt.

If it's really "common" sense, why do so few people actually have it?

I deleted the emails I guess. They aren't in my inbox and my deleted gets dumped every time I shut down.

That's what it sounded like fenix. I just wondered how long that might take and if it was like an e check.

I agree with Fenix, above. You're probably okay with this; just have patience.

It does not take as long as most echecks. usually just about 3 days.
