I hope it's just a newby seller's error, otherwise it's just a cash grab and fee avoidance.

It's probably a typo. I once set shipping to $1200 by missing a decimal place

$1200? Hmm...did you have a BIN price? The way some bidders seem not to read seller's terms, you might've gotten lucky there.

Did you email the seller to let him/her know? That's what I would do.

I'm far from a newbie and I just listed a piece of costume jewelry for $1500.00. It's pretty - but really??? Someone emailed me and I changed it and immediately got a bid!!!

I one time "sold" some figurines for $2125. Second-place bidder intended to bid $210, and the "winner" intended to bid $230. BOTH of them screwed up their decimal places
I can't tell you how shocked I was when in the last minute or so it went from the middle $100s to $2125 As most things that are too good to be true, it was. I was as high as the selling price for a moment, but reality (and emails) set in quickly.

I wrote and asked her if she had made a mistake on the shipping cost a couple of days ago, she said "yes, it should have been $20", I told her I thought that was very high. She still hasn't changed it on the auction. I just hope no-one bids without checking all the details!!

Don't know about a stuck key, but doesn't the shipping stay the same when you use templates for auctions unless you change it?...That could have been the reason, the template they use was $60 and it stayed for all the auctions they had...

yep, it stays the same unless you change it in the template. made that mistake one time - got sick of looking at a vintage tin advertising sign in my kitchen and put it in the store. showing the $2.00 s & h that i charge on postcards. fortunately, i noticed and changed it before the sign sold - it cost about $10 to ship it.

What a surprise! Seller had all 5 auctions close with no bids, just some hefty listing fees!
