Does anyone know if the firewall installed on Windows XP with a spc2 upgrade and set on the default mode is sufficient for a home computer with a DSL connection? Or do I need more? Thanks for any helpanyone can give.

I'm assuming you have a router? If you do - enable the firewall on that. I have that one and Windows firewall and Norton. My router firewall catches almost everything but my Norton has caught a few attempts.

Really do not know unless it is part of the modem because the carton I got did not mention a router in the list of contents.. I only have one computer. Tech support from the DSL company was able to fix one real problem by networking with my computer and correcting the problem but I don't think I do would need a router for that.
