This is great! Thanks Beth! Too bad it only works with Ebay and Amazon but it's still in Beta, who knows what will happen in the future

Thanks Beth. Were you able to transfer all of your items? It only transferred 908 of mine and one item failed to load for some reason. If there a limit to number of items?

Thanks for the link! Easy breezy - out of over 5700 items, all but 8 uploaded!

These questions are probably a too basic to ask. Maybe because I am so SLOOOOW but here goes

Are you all uploading these items from your computer or from another website? Are you uploading them TO ebay? or to amazon or is there something I missed and you are uploading them to a totally different site

A good question, the converter downloads them (or their addresses, anyway) from eBay to your computer- makes them Googlebase readable and uploads them to Google base. When someone clicks on it- they are taken to your eBay listing. At least that's how I think it works.

Earlier in the year I used the eBay provided feed to try and get my items listed on google base.

I had a long email conversation with a very nice google base employee about the ebay thumb size pics. Google base did not want those, they wanted the full size pics, but the full size were not downloading.

This solves that problem. Google base downloads exactly what it needs from your listings at ebay or yahoo, etc. and then uploads it to the base.

I sell on two sites and it uploaded both of them. I did not check to see if all were uploaded or not.

I saw this tool on the eBay PS Board, can't take credit for it.

Well, it's been a week now. I don't know whether it is the google base download that I did or if it's the time of the year ! More looks, more bookmarks but NO buys. Mine ended on saturday and sunday. HUMMMM Wonder what my middle of the weekers will do.

Does anyone see any difference in their sales that are using Google base? Did you find any errors when uploading them to G. base? Comments are greatly appreciated

Okay, I'm slow. Are you just downloading your store items? Would this work with non-store item listings? (I don't have a store.)

And the purpose of doing this is--to make sure they show up in a Google search? Or is there more to it than that?

I thought Google picked up most of eBay auction listings in searches anyway.

I'm soooo confused.

I thought it was only my store item but I was wrong. It uploads everything I have: my auctions and store. I don't know if it will work with only auctions. Hummmm,,,, I wonder

Has anyone tried it who doesn't have a store?

I think all you need is your ebay id and psw.

I don't have a store, and I tried it. No go. It says username and password don't match. Oh well.

I asked google about it and here is there answer:

At this time Google Base Store Connector can only be used with "Buy it Now" items as we do not currently list auction items that do not have a "Buy it Now" option. To list eBay items, you would need to have an eBay store so that Store Connector can access the items to be able to upload them.

I think as long as you have a store, it doesn't matter if you have auctions and store items or buy it nows. They ALL list on g base.
