It's not over here in NE Ohio. I don't breath a sigh of relief until mid-April. We had a heck of a snowstorm last year in mid-April.

Its starting to warm up here in St. Augustine. My lilies are ready to bloom, probably by tomorrow and my orange tree is full of blossoms. The sweet aroma is almost overwhelming.

Spring in MN begins on Mother's Day when the crabapple trees bloom and ends on Memorial Day - the weekend when everyone opens up the lake place. (Now that they hold Fishing Opener on Mother's Day, I don't think we have Spring at all.)

Ladies I KNOW!!! I am sitting in my office watching it SNOW yet again. Spring yeah right it is just an "on paper" thing this year. I am off to Round Top Texas on Monday. Spring has sprung in south Texas. I so look forward to seeing GREEN and the bluebonnets. I will be gone for 3 weeks ... maybe by the time I get back New Hampshire will have turned brown with mud instead of dirty white snow.

Beautiful here. Balmy, gentle breeze rustling the azaleas which are in full bloom. Tea olive bush is heady with its frangrance, and the camellias have been blooming since Christmas! Planted herbs and annuals over the week end, and they even survived the torrential rains/tornado warning and hail we had Saturday night. Near Charleston, close to toasted actually. And yes, I have plenty of sense of changing seasons -- don't need snow and ice for that.

Not sure how many inches of new snow have fallen here - started last night and hasn't stopped. This is the biggest snowfall of the season and thank god it won't be around as long as the November snow (at the bottom of the new snow). Long underwear under the Easter finery!
