Hi

Just got feedback on a pair of Sterling onyx earring that were listed for 99 cents and shipping 4.75

Earrings sold for 1.04

Feedback left Positive.......Beautiful earrings - pretty steep shipping costs

My feedback to her naturally has to be a positive but can I say.. If shipping was more then you wanted to spend you should not have bid
I'm sure she dinged my stars also

or maybe I should thank her for not leaving me a neg. lol

I'd leave no feedback at all. Why benefit her. If you leave a positive with a negative spin, eBay will just remove it.

I agree with Cheryl - don't leave any fb. If she asks for fb just ignore her. I had one last week that received their item in 4 days - they paid for parcel post. She left positive fb that she liked the item but the shipping was slow. I just ignored and refused to leave fb for her.

Do respond to what she left. Something like - Shipping clearly stated, agreed to charge by bidding. Along those lines.

BTW - Your shipping is not out of line.

I'd leave feedback that states: "Cheap-ass bidder bought item for 99 cents and complained about stated shipping cost", then block them.

Let the bidder go to the trouble of getting ebay to remove it.

eBay will automatically remove it. They're using bots to find positive/negative feedback. It will go against you if you're caught. Just an FYI!

All I know is that if eBay has to remove the feedback it counts against the person who left it. It's a violation of policy. I've already had one of those. Don't care to have another.

All Great ideas,

but how about if I say, Quick payment,sorry to hear you thought shipping was high.

That doesn't sound bad, do you think I could have a problem with Ebay?

She stated what she thought so why can't I state what I think.

The first thing I did was to put her on block bidder list.

I left her FB

Quick payment, I'm sorry to hear you thought shipping was steep.

I want to see if Ebay takes it off, Because if someone leaves a neg we could give FB and say. "I'm sorry you felt unhappy with your purchase"

I know Ebay said we can not leave a neg FB when we give a Positive but saying how unhappy or how upset you feel that the buyer was not happy You are just voicing your concern over how your buyer felt and at the same time it will give other buyers a heads up.

Can we foil eB's FB computer by using text message lingo? For example
YNEB = Whinnie B-t-h
SLP = Slow payer
DASAS Dumb as a stump
BTHSM Block This Moron

I would not increase their feedback #s by leaving any feedback. Most buyers and sellers do not look at comments, just #s and by leaving a + even with a neutral type comment, IMHO, serves no purpose but to perpetuate this inequitable FB program.

If I receive a snide remark with a + FB, I will not reciprocate at all.

alldings - All the buyer would have to do is complain to eBay and you'll get slapped with a violation.

I would not have honored her with any feedback at all! She didn't deserve a positive, soft or otherwise.

Leaving her FB makes other sellers see what type of buyer she is.

Also, I don't think the number of fb a buyer has makes much difference with the new FB system since they all get positives.

She mentioned how she felt in the FB so I don't see anything wrong with me doing the same. But if it comes back to bite me I will let you know.

The # won't matter in the FB system if people keep leaving + FB for buyers when they don't deserve it.

Thanks, flufF
