I have done everything I could to NOT make the decision to quit listing through VD. Been using AW~~VD since 1999.
I have always praise the services , recommended it numerous folks that now use it.
The past 3 weeks have been terrible.
I just cannot keep revising every listing.
I talked with my Account Manager with eBay today -- nearly 30 minutes.
I refuse to pay $5.95 to call a service that I pay and have paid since it was formed. So , I email VD and they always cordially respond .
My conclusion, there is nothing VD can do to correct my problem.
I do not like change, I am a very loyal person , but see no other recourse.... it is time to put on my BIG G'rl drawers and list elsewhere.

I hope to still use VD for image hosting.
Could I possible get my photos and take them with me? Do I have to pay $5.95 to let VD know I am changing?

Anyone ever used eBay Turbo?

Please any help would be appreciated

I use Sellers Sourcebook. They have a drag and drop image uploading hosting. You just drag your vendio photo or any website or computer saved photo over to their drag and drop and walla. Piece of cake.

You can't do that with descriptions however.

They have great templates and scheduled listings. Oh...and great customer service.

No post sale management though.

I used ebay turbo on another ID...but it was basic ONE photo items. Thing I like about Vendio and dislike about Turbo is the ability to locate and identify the photo. Turbo..it is assigned an ebay code#...Vendio is the file on your computer.

Sellers Sourcebook... have to look

I am thinking about leaving my photos here and just using regular eBay listing at least temporarily.
I may try Auctiviaaaaaa, still looking at eBay Turbo.
I am spending today pondering and looking into different sources. Time is money so it is time to start using mine more productively, than revising each listing.

Keepem coming I am looking at all options

Would closing your Vendio account and opening a new one help? Have you tried posting on the Vendio service board for help?

I know there is a way to download all your photos at one time but I don't recall how to do it. It was really easy and fast too. If I recall CS told me how to do it but that was years ago.

Hello,

Note that the only way to actually avoid the issue your working around is to use an eBay owned service, so any other third party listing tools would probably be pointless to bother with until eBay fixes their API.

There is a trick to downloading all of your hosted images using an older version of our Sales Manager Pro, just ping me and we'll send you a link with some directions.

Note also that existing longterm users can always request phone calls for situations too complex to resolve via email, but we do charge for the service if users want monthly all the time access to it (powersellers can simply request this service fee to be waived as well, and typically longterm powersellers will always be granted that, we just can't afford to provide it for free to everyone all the time without raising fees to cover the expenses.)

- note that you are now setup on our 'Complimentary Personal Assistance' - if nothing else to help ease your transition, as hopefully you'll stick with Vendio once eBay fixes this mess once and for all. - (just click the help link and then the phone icon to use it.)
Regards,
Chris

wow...Chris...nice response (DSR = 5)-->

".......if nothing else to help ease your transition, as hopefully you'll stick with Vendio once eBay fixes this mess once and for all........"

not only a possible sincere statement to keep a customer(seller), but also an acknowledgement of a "mess" in the same line.

DON'T hear that to often from Amazon or Ebay!

Unfortunately, I believe Chris is right. If the API is messed up, all 3rd party vendors accessing eBay through the API are affected. Is it the discounted shipping for multiple purchases that is affecting you? I'm convinced this is an eBay problem that affects Vendio and all 3rd party vendors.

I KNOW Chris is right. As I said -
My conclusion, there is nothing VD can do to correct my problem.

I do not expect VD to fix eBays interface.
I am going to wait a while longer, surely it will be resolved.
It is just so frustrating.

I hope VD does keep the unresolved issue alive until it is resolved.

Again. thanks Chris, I sincerely appreciated all the CS at VD .

Yes, Pixia, I have been having to revise every listing for three weeks.

I remember reading on the Stores board that Turbolister also had this problem (just one user posted about it) - they were looking for third party providers to solve it.

Duer - I reinstalled Turbolister last night. It can import your active listings and revise them. I tried to do this a few months ago and it only revised a handful of my listings. They must have fixed something recently because last night I was able to revise 100% of my auction items and all but 29 of my store items. (Revised Shipping and added return policy). I don't see a "find and replace" function to change the body of the description but at least this fixes the discounted shipping glitch and keeps me compliant with August 25th required changes.
