All of my pending listings came back with an error message. Claims I didn't chooseUS Carrier. However, I checked the US carrier and put in the amount on each listing. Any ideas??

There is a little box you must check above the shipping boxes " I am specifying shipping costs" is the box you must check in addition to the type of carrier you have chosen

It would seem that vendio is the problem at the moment. They have to do some homework to bring their programming in line with ebay. I spoke to ebay several hours ago and that is what they told me. At this time i cannot list either and i am waiting for a phone call from vendio to try to sort the problem.

THIS is the error message i am getting
Error 21915469: A domestic shipping service wasn't specified.

* At least one domestic shipping service must be specified when listing in the Rough for Cabbing category.

Ebay knew exactly what the problem was, as they caused it in the first place. Oh well we have to play their games.

I am in australia and always list in the U.S.A.

OH, ebay is pushing their New Turbo Lister very hard, trying to get me to use it.

IT IS A REALLY LITTLE CHECK BOX FOR I AM POSTING SHIPPING AND THEN YOUR FINE. Another box pops up list your info and your set.I was so annoyed last night playing with this too. Then I got it and it was like another blonde moment for me.

Listed tonight and all is well in this changing world.

I had the same problem weeks ago trying to figure out how this was done to eliminate the error message. I finally figured it out.
The shipping statement on the Vendio auction site reads as follows:

eBay Shipping and Payment Details
----------------------------------
I am specifying shipping costs for eBay checkout (required for eBay Express and PayPal Immediate Payments) (check the box to the left of that statement).

Specify your shipping details in the Shipping & Handling section below. Use this table to specify the information that is provided to eBay's Checkout. (Click on the blue Shipping & Handling).

Boxes to check with types of mailing will come up.
Click on the box to the left of how you want your shipment sent, (there will be many choices, for domestic and international). To the right of that insert how much your shipping cost will be. I only do fixed. It's a lot easier.
That worked for me, I hope it does for you, as well.

I think this might be planned by Vendio to catch listings which will be yanked by eBay because you did not choose to display shipping costs in eBay checkout. I have a few seldom used profiles (Templates) which do not have this option checked and I get an error when I try to launch a listing created by them. I appreciate it- it allows me to correct the listing before paying listing fees and getting them cancelled by eBay.

I have been having this same problem for over a month now. At least 2 or 3 of my auctions every week get these error messages . I also get the message this item cannot be listed. Tonight one of the items that the error message says cannot be listed is a mug! the other is some drawer pulls! It is driving me crazy. If I list them directly on ebay everything is fine , I prefer though to list through Vendio , not much longer if this keeps happening !

If you live in another country i dont believe it will work. Ok if you live in the u.s.a. Like me there is a lot of people who live in another country and wand to and do list in america. So the instructions for people living in the u.s.a. will not work for anyone living elsewhere. As i said in my first listing. Vendio has some re programming to do for these problems to go away. EBAY told me that these problems only started about 3 weeks or so ago. When they started to make some changes to programming. I am just waiting for my phone call from vendio.

"If you live in another country i dont believe it will work".
Try going into: My Account: Seller Preferences
Click on Shipping & Handling.
If you scroll all the way down past USA Shipping options, you will see a place for International Shipping and the options there.
I don't know if that would work or not. You may have already tried it.

agate18 & GUERRA - you will need to offer at least one shipping carrier and cost. You do not have to list the cost for everyone everywhere you ship to, but you will have to enter a cost for shipping to the USA.

SInce you list to the eBay.com site, just put your shipping cost for the US into the domestic shipping section. You can pick one of the preformatted carriers on the form or select one of the blank fields and enter your own text and cost beside it. The main issue though is having one US shipping cost/carrier (fixed or calculated) in the listing or eBay will send it back with an error message.

After eBay flipped this switch, it caused anyone that wasn't checking the 'I AM specifying eBay shipping and checkout details' box to see their items to fail.
Since then we have set up our system to automatically check this box on items posted from Vendio, but for users that had both this box unchecked and no shipping carriers/costs listed their items will still fail as eBay now needs at least one shipping carrier to the US to be listed.

Regards,
Chris

retrod - your items are failing due to a different issue completely. group by group eBay has been filtering listings from users that mention the word 'bidpay' as it is no longer an accepted payment service.

If you go to the My Account page and click to edit your Custom Listing Text, remove the word BidPay prior to resubmitting your items and they should then post without any errors.

Chris

fnbs2/Debbie - you *may* still be using our old Image Hosting only listing form, which was the first one we came out with. Do you go to the image hosting page, click to attach and image and then click to list a new auction from here?

If so that would be the old listing form and without all of the shipping fields and eBay checkout details available to it, it won't work to list your items to eBay anymore.

What you need at this point would be just another basic listing form with the missing fields available, which is what the Sales Manager is exactly. After you upload your images, go to the Sales Manager tab and click the eBay icon in the upper left corner of the page, just under the heading 'create listing,' You'll notice the forms are almost the same, but with some additional fields you hadn't had access to prior to now.

Let us know if you have any trouble with listing your items this way. Unfortunately the old form will only be useful now for adding images to existing auctions or generating the HTML code to do so manually.

Regards,
Chris

Hello Debbie,

You will be using part of the tool you hadn't been using up until now, so now is a good time to take a look at your plans and make sure your on the best for your volume.

If you were to stay on the same plan you have now and simply start listing from the full featured Sales Manager, you would pay an additional 6 cents per listing that you launch from Vendio directly, and a 1% final value fee on the items that sold (of the ones you submit or relist directly from Vendio.) Items you relist via eBay would not incur these fees.

Regards,
Chris

I am just NOT seeing the box to tick that says "I am specifying shipping costs for eBay checkout." I must be not really bright. Having read the directions here, it still is escaping my notice.

Once I log in to Vendio, I click on 'My Account', then what?

jhjowett - have you ran into an error message when posting your items?

The checkbox on the online Sales Manager has been removed, as it is no longer an option to enable the eBay checkout or not.

Chris

Hello jhjowett,

There are a few different versions of error 37, which have different causes. What is the name of one of the pending listings where you are having this problem?

Regards,
Nathan
