About a month ago, I filed a dispute for non-payment. Customer never paid and my FVF was granted. But, the item is still on my Leave Feedback page. Since the dispute is closed (and, unfortunately, I can't leave negative feedback for this scumbag), shouldn't the item disappear from my "Leave Feedback" page? Is there a way I can make it go away?

I have had a similar thing happen with 2 auctions. One buyer decided that they didn't want the item, the other was a sold auction that stayed in my store and was purchased a second time. In both cases we filled out the forms saying we both agreed not to complete the transaction, but every time I go to send an invoice to the one who is a regular buyer, this transaction is there again. This was a couple of months ago, and it still comes up, I don't know how to get it off.

Can you archive them?

Wait. It'll scroll off eventually.

It will stay there for 90 days. Nothing you can do to remove it unless you leave feedback or simply wait it out.

I'd LOVE to leave feedback. Unfortunately, eBay no longers allows us to rate our non-payers. I'll just have to wait until the 90 days is over I guess. Thanks!

blueyes29...

you may not be able to post a negative, but what if we started posting positives(not that giving a deliquent a positive would really matter)with this wording;

IT IS UNFORTUNATE EBAY WILL NOT ALLOW NEGATIVES TO BE PLACED ***ATTN: SELLERS***

Falls under the; "Always leave Feedback after a transaction so that other members may benefit from your experience."

Rhpepsi,

Please be very careful with this strategy. eBay has been suspending accounts for leaving positive feedback where the wording of the feedback is not positive.

Regards,
Nathan

Loved it, pepsi! I've been trying to come up with fool-proof wording that would pass the eBay police search for false positive feedback. But, as Nathan says, I really don't want to run the risk of having my account suspended. So, like others, am having to bite the bullet and content myself with blocking the bidder.

Since sellers can't leave negative or false positives, do any sellers still read their buyers' feedback. Why bother? By definition, it should be nothing but glowing.

Nope...I don't read it any more.
