I need to find a message from a while back and don't know how to search for it (by topic or title).

You could try Google but the indexing is mighty strange.

I just found this thread from five years ago:

http://wsacp.vendio.com/mesg/read.html?num=2&thread=530301

Yet there's tons of stuff I've posted since then that is absent from Google.

If you're spending $7500 a month on maid service, why only $1700 on jewelry?

Just above the list of posts there is a drop down "show items for past 20 days". You can adjust that via the drop down - all of the pages will appear at the bottom so you will have to guess whereabouts you want to search. You can also adjust the number of days in the URL in your address bar.

Just read the old post, Fluff. Trip down memory lane - none of the posters are here any more.

Does anyone know what happened to Fenix?

Thanks! Sorry to be so obtuse--I thought there was a way to search by topic. I did do the drop-down to "everything" or whatever it's called, and gave up looking after 21 pages! I looked at everything I'd posted up to that point.

The last I heard of Fenix is that she needs surgery work done.
Post your question at round table, they may know more.

Helen knows the secret and she even told me once how to do it. If I could remember what she told me I'd go find the thread where she told me how to do it and then I could tell you.But I can't.

sigh.........................

Look around on various search engines. Don't stop at Google. They all have bits of flotsam and jetsam from the Vendio Community that have washed up.

Here's one I found:

<deleted>

Sorry, had to nuke that. There was an old email address of mine in there that I still use sometimes.

Fluff - didn't you or someone once post a link to a "way back" search engine or something like that?

Geez, you're quick.

Yep, that was me. You mean you actually remember that thread? I'd forgotten. Though the 30-some negatives remain, of course, back in the murky depths of my feedback.

It's Saturday. Go do something fun with your hubby. I'm gonna.

The Wayback Machine, sadly, is pretty much useless.

It might archive a particular page, but if the images no longer exist on the original server, you won't be able to see them. So much of the Web is image-based these days.

I am shipping and checking things on computer when I get stuck finding postcards - hubby is golfing. Gotta move in to high speed now though before the PO closes.
