Some items listed or revised between the morning of September 17 and 6:30pm PT on September 19 are not indexed into eBay Search. We are working urgently to resolve the problem for the affected items as quickly as possible.
At this time, we are asking sellers NOT to end and relist these items, because we don't know at this point whether the relisted items will index properly. However, we do know that new items will index properly, so if you'd like to end your affected listing and start a new listing from scratch, that will be fine, and it should index into Search properly.
We will update this post when we have more information. In the meantime, please be assured that we will be automatically crediting fees for all impacted listings (whether active or closed) early next week. Thank you for your patience, and we apologize for the frustration this is causing you."

Translation. We needed the extra money from listing fees, so we are going to take them and not allow you to sell your item.

I just want to know how will they know which items were not indexed? I guess there must be something to the theory that eBay metes out visibility and the meter was haywire.
I listed 22 FP30 items and I *think* all were visible. Who has time to check each and every one?

The problem appears to be finally resolved. The issue was regarding the 30 day FP items. I had 10 items which completely vanished - not in store or core.
