I offer both when I can to save the buyer money but now when I send an ebay invoice, it is dropping the 1st class option (or if they pay before I invoice}.

I wonder now if this is an attempt on ebay's part to make a little extra on the paypal payment. Could they really be that greedy?

Either way it's a real pain to have to double check every single item. Has anyone else notice this?

Are the packages over 4 pounds?
I looked at the USPS international shipping calculator and see the option is dropped on their site when a package goes over 4 pounds.

1st international is limited to BELOW 4lbs...so any item over that is PRIORITY

No I had 3 international sales over the weekend and all were under 4 lbs. They had the option in the listing as well.
When I got ready to send one invoice I thought it must be over 4 lbs and that's why it wasn't there but the buyer wrote me to say that she was quoted 1st class and wanted it shipped that way. This is making me look bad and I'm sure will hurt my DSR's.
Another buyer paid using the paypal link and I can't see where he was given the 1st class option either. He paid for priority.

There is no more economical way to ship overseas - they eliminated the slow boat to China method. I am having problems with the amount for 1st class international not showing any longer, but the option still does.

The flat rate priority box is the most economical way to ship most items over 4 lbs now ($39.95). I pack those boxes FULL when I send things to daughter in Kazakhstan and save big $$.

I've noticed that generally, only the first option picked when you select shipping carriers is showing on the PP payment page and perhaps on the invoice too. You have to use a drop down menu to get the other options.

birgittaw - this is an ebay invoice I'm speaking of and it used to have both with the prices filled in - still does on domestic.

Maybe it's just me - I'm having a lot of weird stuff going on with ebay now - like some of my relist don't have the option to schedule - launch now is all I can do with them.
Earlier today I tried to send something to FP GTC and the next page would go back to 30 days. I did it 3 times and I don't think I ever got it fixed.
