Sellers who offer shipping insurance at buyers' option might want to rethink this option when revising their listings for PayPal only. PayPal clearly recognizes that it is the seller's responsibility to get the shipment to buyer safely and soundly and holds the seller responsible for any damages or lost shipments. I suggest either making insurance mandatory, or including a mark-up for insurance or self-insurance in your selling price.

DSI stinks - I've been using stamps.com - I've had two claims in the past 2-1/2 years - both were paid within 5 days of filing. They are also slightly less expensive so you can make a couple cents at the same time.
My problem is I think since I require insurance on all purchases, my shipping charges DSR is taking the hit - and I am just not willing to eat yet another charge.

I require insurance on my main ID on 95% of the items - on my other ID I offer as an option. I can't see any difference in my DSR Shipping cost between the 2.
I'll stick with my insurance required on any item over $25.
