Looks as though 9-11 could have been far worse than it actually was.

What this article tells me is that our attack on Afghanistan only killed the common soldier. The leadership got away, except for those few whom insiders wanted to betray to the Americans. In the article you'll notice that these people still hang out in Pakistan and Suadi Arabia - not Iraq! All we did was kick out Bush's obstructionists to his Oil Pipeline in Afghanistan and since then, has not bothered to worry about Al-Queda or the revenge of the United States against "those who masterminded September 11th and any countries where they may be hiding". Creating an unprovoked attack on Iraq is such crap. It will backfire on us. Given a choice to support Western Powers or to support one of their own under attack by Western Powers, we will be in such a Vietnam situation that only Bush and Satan together can gloat over.

The Arabic television station al-Jazeera says it will broadcast on Thursday the interview in which Osama Bin Laden's aides describe in detail how they planned the 11 September attacks.

Might this interview finally convince some skeptics who planned this attack? I can only hope.

Linda, it might to some who want stronger evidence. But those radicals who insist that he had nothing to do with it wouldn't believe it if Osama himself came onto Al-Jezeera and proclaimed his guilt. That would only make him a hero in their eyes.

I've noticed that having a huge price on your head tends to make one hide a lot. Osama's head has a bounty of what, nearly $100m by now? Who could trust their guards, their very own family members with that kind of money running around?

Personally, I think that it would be much more profitable in many ways for us to print up Wanted posters in the various languages, translating dollars to whatever the local currencies are. The more Wanted posters you put out, the more enterprising young people are going to want to take advantage of it. It would certainly be cheaper than a War with bombs and MORE friggin landmines!

The most important point is to make sure that Muslim authorities kill Osama and his gang. If the Enemy does it, then they become martyrs. If they do it themselves, Osama and his joy boys will be denounced and discredited. That's why Sadaam needs to be taken down by Arabs/Muslims, >>not<< Western Powers aka -US- !

Mornin' -

But those radicals who insist that he had nothing to do with it wouldn't believe it if Osama himself came onto Al-Jezeera and proclaimed his guilt. Agreed, but it wasn't those 'radicals' I was referring to. Rather those Americans [and others] who have said, "We don't have any proof bin Laden was involved/etc in the WTC."

On the Wanted posters: The more Wanted posters you put out, the more enterprising young people are going to want to take advantage of it.

You're kidding right? I can't imagine any young people being stupid enough to risk their life putting these posters up in most any middle-eastern country for any amount of money. They'd be shot on the spot.

That's why Sadaam needs to be taken down by Arabs/Muslims, >>not<< Western Powers aka -US- ! I guess you haven't seen the 'call' by Arabs/Muslims leaders that they all need to support Sadaam then. They don't seem to care that he's a madman...just that he's the same religion.

The reason all the Muslims are going to the support of Saddam is because we keep rattling our sabres. When we supported his regime, the Muslim world wanted him out of there as much as we do now.

A Woman will spend $1.00 for a $2.00 item she doesn't need.

Mornin' - rattling our sabres. I think Bush is serious...not just threatening.

But you know....one thing that really surprised me last night was seeing Clinton and a few of the Democratic leaders calling for the same thing [that Bush is now] on tape, in 1998. For some reason the Democrats were all for war on Saddam then, but are publicly speaking out about it now. What's changed? Nothing, except the Republicans are in office and not them. The only difference I can see is that Saddam has had four more years he's kept the investigators out. Are you aware of what might have changed the Democratic position from their earlier stance?

He! He! Heee! Linda! You're thinking of the Wild West, where the Sherrif would go around putting up Wanted posters! These days, we fly over the area that we want to advertise in, and we saturate it with flyers through arial bombardment; i.e. Wanted Posters!

Yes, I did take your above statement that way [sorry I misunderstood] as I did wonder why you'd think they'd risk their lives in that way. But I still don't think dropping them from airplanes would be any safer for those 'enterprising young people'. Don't you think they'd be shot down? I do. And then there's the cost of the plane, fuel etc in order to process the flyers this way. They'd have to be fairly wealthy already to undertake this plan.
