Sure they can take the land - but they won't work it.
The rub is going to be in just a couple years with the climate changes we are seeing food will be more expensive and it won't be in surplus to be given away like it is now so they will either work the land or die.

That Anarchism in Africa site is a hoot. As if capitalism ever was even tried in Africa as a whole. There have been capitalists there serving their own interests but there have never been significant AFRICAN capitalists.
The social and economic structure of the continent has always been tribal even when there was a veneer of democratic or socialist forms.
