The supreme court has upheld the latest 20 year extension of copy rights. Itself longer than the original 14 years.

Does anyone doubt that Disney and the others will get extentions for as long as their materials have any commercial value at all?

don't have a problem with it. If I created something I'd want to hold onto it, too.

I agree, bunni. Reamond had a thread on this subject, a while back, was waiting for the decision. I tried to locate it but couldn't.

So - lets hear your arguement. Would you just do away with anything ever entering the public domain? Extend it forever? Maybe patents too?
