The state of California, reeling from a $35 billion deficit, is auctioning "weapons" seized at its airports. Knives, hatchets, scissors and corkscrews etc. have all found their way onto Ebay. Imagine the thrill of bidding on your own cuticle scissor.

It has been going on for a while.

Ah, that's nothin'. The State of Ohio's deficit is so large they are cutting Medicaid benefits all over the place and yet are buying brand spanking new cars for the state police. Imagine. Maybe Ohio should get in on the Ebay craze and then the poor wouldn't have to go without medical treatment. I'm sure Hopkins has plenty of seized cuticle scissors.

Who would be the first to complain if those Ohio State Police didn't get to your house on time.

I'm sure it's a matter of most importance to the general population.
Amen,
Medicaid doesn't cover sh*t anyway,

The reason for the new cars in not that they are desperately in need, it's that the old ones are grey and they think white ones can be better seen. True. We're not talking local police, we're talk state highway patrol.
