There was a show on TV last night about the existence of tens of thousands of small biological weapon canisters housed in Russia without good security. Only barbed wire stands between the facility and terrorist intrusion in many areas. Apparently the US is aware of this and legislators are still arguing whether the Russians have been forthcoming about the total numbers. This has caused large sums of money earmarked for weapons destruction facilities to be delayed for several years. It was announced that only a small portion of the proposed funding has been finally released. Very scary stuff.
