What's with you being hall monitor, Twelve? Shouldn't you be busy watching Suzie Wong or Stepford Wives movies?

Bush is a Boob.

Hey Twelvepole Maybe Maybe not you never know
I may be referring to what will happen if Kerry is elected. But as you can plainly see your comment only goes to show how narrow minded the view point of the American votes has become. You are a voter Right???

I like President Bush very much. I feel protected and safe, now that the Iraqi terrorists are all in jail and stuff, and besides that, we all have so much more money now.

Thanks twelvepole for the answer to a question I asked in another thread. All the negative comments coming from a poster not living in the USA. No I am not talking about you.

Great thread Jewelry it goes along with the other nothing ones in the roundtable.

It's just hilarious to come to the basement and read all the gobbledygook about the Democrats and Republicans and by the time the election rolls around we all will be voting for Nader. Well maybe Stassen.

You overlook the worst comment on the page, Libra?

All the negative comments coming from a poster not living in the USA.

Why don't you just name the person?

And why don't you start your own thread here if the others are "nothing ones" instead of coming here to criticize others?

As far as posters not living in the US this board is open to the world and the world is free to post their opinions.

Many Canadians have dual citizenship. Sometimes Americans fall in love with Canadians or vice versus so they travel back and forth between both countries. As an example, a young lady who used to work for me is now a Journalist and she is living in the US and has fallen in love with an American.

Lots of Americans moved to Canada after 9/11. Canada and the US are very closely linked, that's why politics concern both countries.

Kiara-Time to bring out the fingernails.

When threads are started they all turn into that. No matter if it has substance when started someone turns the subject around and it be comes a no nonsense thread. Name calling is the worse. There is no way a non committed voter can come to this Round Table and decided which candidate is good or bad. We all leave here with a bad taste in our mouth.

I did ask the poster that question but they didn't answer. So I just left it alone. No and it wasn't you either. I was just curious but from now on I won't be....

Sure they can. Everyone is entitled to their own opinion. The choice you have is where you can agree or disagree with them.

No reason to have a "bad taste" as its only a persons opinion. Carry on.

How do you feel about what G. W. Bush has done to the Country ?????

Well I won't beat around the bush about my feelings.....ha no pun intended.

Let's see...He went to war based on incorrect data. He misled America from the start about about the war. He has alienated most European countries. The economy has gone to he** since more jobs are going over seas and he cares squat about the average working American. He wants to give illegal immigrants jobs here in the States. He is slowly taking away our freedoms and rights through a tough stance on the Patriot Act. He looks like a monkey. He shouldn't have been in office in the first place if the American people actually chose the President instead of the way the election system is today. Other than that Bush is a nice guy.

I think that sums up my feelings.

Will Kerry do a better job? Who knows, but at least I would be willing to see what he can do. If he doesn't do a good job then we vote some other bafoon in to office in 2008.

Impeach Bush

Libra63,

I reviewed your posts and saw the question that you refer to, Libra63. Before asking your question, you posted a rude remark to the poster that you refer to. Sometimes when I am asked such questions, I just consider the source and carry on. Constitutional lawyers generally have their bull sh*t and crap detectors turned on high beam.

Libra, I don't think anyone has to take out fingernails to discuss an issue.

At times some posters read a lot more into the way another one is saying something and judge it being said in a different tone entirely.

As far as using the Round Table to make a voting decision, it's good and bad. The bad part is that many times there is no debate and the good part is that there is a constant supply of information with links given to mainstream news stories and current events.

Since these links support both sides a reader can try to judge from reading all viewpoints.

No, only US politics it seems...

On this board, yes it is US politics that are discussed because there are mostly US posters here. I don't see much interest here in Canadian politics so it wouldn't be worthy of a discussion.

Who are you referring to Libra? Me or Skylite? Either way, which one of us is negative all the time? You say you leave here with a bad taste in your mouth but don't explain much. Why beat around the bush? I'd like to hear your opinions.

I think there's a good bunch of people here. I can even appreciate Twelvepole's pov. Politically, this board probably represents a slice of the different views felt by many in North America. Whether anyone agrees with your view or not, it's good to talk about things and I find most here are respectful of each other when they do. Nothing wrong with that.
