This was written by an 83 year old...The last line says it all.

Dear Bertha,

I'm reading more and dusting less. I'm sitting in the yard and admiring the view without fussing about the weeds in the garden. I'm spending more time with my family and friends and less time working. Whenever possible, life should be a pattern of experiences to savor, not to endure. I'm trying to recognize these moments now and cherish them.

I'm not "saving" anything; we use our good china and crystal for every special event such as losing a pound, getting the sink unstopped, or the first Amaryllis blossom.

I wear my good blazer to the market. My theory is if I look prosperous, I can shell out $28.49 for one small bag of groceries..

I'm not saving my good perfume for special parties, but wearing it for clerks in the hardware store and tellers at the bank.

"Someday" and "one of these days" are losing their grip on my vocabulary; if it's worth seeing or hearing or doing, I want to see and hear and do it now.

I'm not sure what others would've done had they known they wouldn't be here for the tomorrow that we all take for granted.

I think they would have called family members and a few close friends. They might have called a few former friends to apologize and mend fences for past squabbles.

I like to think they would have gone out for a Chinese dinner or for whatever their favorite food was.

I'm guessing; I'll never know.

It's those little things left undone that would make me angry if I knew my hours were limited. Angry because I hadn't written certain letters that I intended to write one of these days. Angry and sorry that I didn't tell my husband and parents often enough how much I truly love them. I'm trying very hard not to put off, hold back, or save anything that would add laughter and luster to our lives.

And every morning when I open my eyes, I tell myself that it is special. Every day, every minute, every breath truly is a gift from God.

If you received this, it is because someone cares for you.

If you're too busy to take the few minutes that it takes right now to forward this, would it be the first time you didn't do the little thing that would make a difference in your relationships? I can tell you it certainly won't be the last.

Take a few minutes to send this to a few people you care about, just to let them know that you're thinking of them.

"People say true friends must always hold hands, but true friends don't need to hold hands because they know the other hand will always be there."

I don't believe in miracles. I rely on them.

Life may not be the party we hoped for, but while we are here we might as well dance.

Thats a nice letter, twelve. A good philosophy if you can keep it in perspective. I think for the most part, the older you get, the more it becomes clear life is indeed very short.

Maybe pay more attention to it, neroter12.

While you're twisting your panties over your own mistakes and making up lies about others on a public message board, maybe learn to take account for your actions.

Remember, life is short.

Kiara: you so like to put MY Business at risk, you will post my selling ID over and over.

Explain that one for me, those are your words that you posted here. It was on a thread called "How Low Can You Go?".

Remember?

I dont tell lies about anybody on these boards.

I have never put your selling ID anywhere as I don't even know it so why would you lie about me doing it?

Great post twelve.

I guess a post always has to have a negative connotation.

Yes and as I do get older and wiser. I reflect on the past and I wonder why I didn't see things in a different light. I was blinded by influence and didn't do the things I wanted to do but what others wanted me to do. Now I am in a position to change what I can.

There is nothing I as a person that cannot change. I believe we have our lives planned out before we do them. Not exactly as the pattern is cut out for me but I will get where I am supposed to be later in life.

I was thrown roadblocks but I will overcome them and in the twilight of my life I will enjoy everything.

I am not going to EXPLAIN it to you. You're a grown up, arent you? Well, act like one that knows the consequences of HER actions. You know you what you did, and so does everyone reading these boards. If you want to rip it to prove your so superior - go find a find a child to do with. I'm sure then you get to win.

I am not going to EXPLAIN it to you.

Because you CAN'T!

You know you what you did, and so does everyone reading these boards.

You are a LIAR when you said I posted your seller ID. There is not another person on any of the Vendio boards who ever saw me post your seller ID as I have never done that.

There isn't a single person on Vendio that can show a thread where I ever posted your seller ID as I have never done that. If it was done on any of these boards someone would have called me to account for it.

Walk over to the mirror and have a good look at yourself. You are a liar and a coward.

This is the last time I will ever address you on these boards, Kiara. Now, anybody following the threads saw my seller ID in the threads about the lamps that trai decided his idea of posting the auction with my seller id was wiser for me as a seller than my removing it.

Ok? You following here, miserable child? Then because YOU want to play lawyers and judges on this board, you go fetch that very same thread and repost it.

You want to deny that got your ya-ya's off like nothing else? Good. I am glad I can make your day. As far as courage goes, my life is an open book and I'm still standing. You, on the hand are so guarded because somebody might see you in gasp ~~ all human form, make a mistake ~~ and then how can you maintain this air of superority and only dispense judgements if that happens? Somebody actually might judge you! OMG!!!

Now, why dont you go fetch that thread like I suggested, where you told somebody who wasnt me, that if they dont play nice you will bring up their such and such thread? What was that, if not controlling? Right then and there I saw who you are.

So today you want to take a nice thread that 12 posted and use it to make everybody else join your misery, or specifically draw me into a fight with you because you are friggin miserable. Well, forget it. I dont buy it. I dont want it. I reject you and your devil up your azz and you can just sit there and stew with yourself. My time needs to be devoted to other things then a childish immature temper tantantrum attention wanting thing like you whose four out of five posts are not about exchanging ideas, but an avenue for your obsessive need to correct people!! Get a life, Kiara. Get a life. Maybe go get a teaching job where 'correcting' people unsoliticed is admirable. (Maybe I should have corrected you when twelve called you a retard and you blushed and gushed, that that wasnt exactly a compliment. But I dont have that need to do that to you - I let you have your joy with it.)

And while I am at it, since you like to play the game you are so innocent but acuse others of stalking or giving you the creeps....heres my advice to you: Perhaps you should keep your I spy secrects such as "if you want to track a seller and know the words they use in their TOS" you can do a search that way........"

I am sure you've just lost track of all your favorite sellers and happened on that bright idea quite innocently.

Your last post about the TOS was some good advice I gave to another Vendio seller when they started a new ID, some advice others have passed on to me at Vendio.

You're still whining over the lamp thread?

Well, DUH!

Your seller ID is not on that thread, Dummy. And don't say it recently was as there haven't been any edits since April and besides, YOU were the one to put your own ID up there to begin with. I certainly never posted it there. And YOU are the one continually whining over your past actions that you are unable to take responsibility for. Get over it!

(Maybe I should have corrected you when twelve called you a retard and you blushed and gushed, that that wasnt exactly a compliment. But I dont have that need to do that to you - I let you have your joy with it.)

LOL ! Blushed and gushed??

Shows how you can read into things, I knew exactly what he said.... twelvepole is an easy read.

Same as my "play nice" comments....... now go play nice and try not to have anymore meltdowns.
