My organization – Defenders of Wildlife Action Fund – was started with the understanding that wild animals – the great variety of wildlife around our country and around the world – cannot speak for themselves. In this rapidly industrialized world, wildlife need assistance. They need our assistance – our defense. When our government seeks comment on George Bush’s most recent environmental outrage -- his proposed elimination of protection for the remaining 58.5 million acres of wild (i.e. unroaded) national forest land – those most affected by his plan are silent. They are silent because they cannot speak for themselves – they cannot write and submit formal protests.
That’s where we come in. You can help right now by sending in your formal comments to complain about Bush’s plan. The overall national environmental community is working together to try to generate a maximum number of negative public comments, in the hopes that at a minimum that will garner media and public attention and make it politically impossible for Bush to implement his plan . Your welcome Profe. Bush's record on the environment is just one more reason why I will not be voting for him. It is obvious Bush does not care about the future. He is destroying the environment and letting the next generation pay for the war in Iraq.

Here I thought you were talking about the Chicago Bears.
Everyone whats their agenda first and that won't happen. Elect Kerry and he is going to give 600 million to the national parks, along with affordable health care, more money for schools, cheaper perscription drugs, creating high paying jobs for American workers. Affordable Health insurance for everyone. Now put them in order and see what he will do first.
What does he mean by unroaded. Start putting roads through them and they will probably become a national highway. Parks are just that. Why ruin a park with roads. that is where people go camping and hiking and where whild animals live. Putting roads through them will ruin them and destroy the wild life.

That's true Rusty, but don't Bear's pictures and multiple signature lines just put you over the top with deep belly laughs? Like this one here of Kerry - imagine him saying that - isn't it just the most funniest thing ever? Or the don't turn left sign? I can hardly type I'm laughing so hard.
Great post Logan. Most people think animals are fine as long as they're on the dinner plate or out of their backyard. It's a disgrace.
