An honest politician is one that STAYS bought after you pay him off.

That's the definition of integrity in politics now. It's very rare.

Speaking of rent.

What does everyone think of us paying for Clinton's office at the tune of $650,000.00 A YEAR?

I've heard, that's more than the rent paid for the offices of all four of our other living ex-presidents combined.

LOL!!!

Well, this tax payer finds that outrageous, especially considering the fact that his yearly salary was only $200,000.00.

The thing I can't understand is why any ex-president needs to have separate office space anyway. I'm sure most ex-presidents have a home or two or three, where there's space that could suffice as an office.

Let's see....Clinton's life expectancy is probably somewhere around 78 years old. Even if the $650,000.00 stayed the same for the next 26 years....let me see.... $650,000.00 X 26 = close to $17 MILLION dollars.

What a waste of our tax dollars, that could better be used elsewere. One of the reasons I voted for Nader was I am a big supporter of reducing government waste on all levels.

Yeah, gonna' need the money all right. The bills to restart the dumb star wars missile defense system (which every expert knows won't work) are expected to be some 8 billion dollars, give or take a hundred million or so.

I don't think by stating I feel we are wasting taxpayers money in one area, that is implying I agree or disagree with spending in another area.

While I do feel the people who serve in our armed forces deserve a raise, I am not for spending more on the missile program. Our biggest threat, IMO, will come from germ or chemical warfare, not missiles.
