Criticizing the 'other' side is nothing unusual.
But I do agree with Ashcroft's statements below:
A pardon should be reserved for a situation where there is a manifest sense of injustice," and "The American people are troubled whenever they think a pardon would be associated with political support or financial support."

Perhaps they should stop tryimg to overturn the pardon, and concentrate on overturning the illegal, immoral, theft of the election.
They already spit on the constitution with the election, so why not add the presidential pardons to their "hit list".
They are just trying anything they can to get at least a minute peice of Clinton, because he has made them the ass of every investigation they ever sicked on him, and they always came away with nadda, zilch, zero...

It's his shock, isn't it? After all, he was the first to call for Clinton's removal when the relations with Monica came to light.
