I am on an HP Windows Me...Somehow, my Photomax photo albums in my computer file is all ABM files...grrrr..I just wanted to clean out some photo albums...never been in there before so do not know anything..Now my photos on Photomax site will not pull up either..Do not know if I somehow did the damage or what??? I ran into that problem once before trying to download a recorded music album and just deleted it when nothing worked...this is a wee bit more important..I have been all over HP help sections and Nothing comes up for ABM files...Thanks in advance to all computer gurus!

I don't know, sorry. You might try resaving one as a .jpg then try to open it. It may or may not work. I would give it a new name so you don't lose the original.
Sometime I convert photo files that way but I have never heard of an abm.

You cant open an ABM File because it can only be read by Photomax program Many Companies do this To be sure you cant use files created with out buying or paying for there software.
SO this mean .ABM is a Photomax extention and these can not be converted or open from one format to another with out useing there program.

Well DMan, That sure is logical...not really fair because I did buy the program...came with my camera...now after fooling around...I can not even open them IN the program...much less in my computer program files! Well...sounds like an uninstall reinstall is in order for me and then stay out of the program files! Thank you...I would have been up all night fiddling with it! [email protected]
